Terms of service
Effective 14 August 2026
Using Jot the Spot
Jot the Spot is provided by Neu Software LLC, a limited liability company registered in Delaware, United States; these terms are an agreement between you and Neu Software LLC. You may use Jot the Spot for personal and household purposes if you can legally agree to these terms. You are responsible for keeping your device and sign-in methods secure and for the content you add or share with household members.
Your content
You keep ownership of your jots and photos. You give Jot the Spot the limited permission needed to store, process, sync, and show that content to you and household members you choose. Do not upload unlawful content or content that violates another person’s rights.
Free and paid features
The app shows current limits and paid features before purchase. Purchases are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store—not by Jot the Spot directly. Monthly and yearly plans both renew automatically unless cancelled through your store account, and both unlock the same features. Existing jots remain readable if a subscription ends.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Jot the Spot reliable, but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that a saved place is accurate. Features may change to improve or secure the service. Material changes affecting paid access will be communicated appropriately.
Account suspension or closure
You may delete your account at any time. We may limit or close accounts that misuse the service, attack its infrastructure, infringe rights, or create legal risk. Where reasonable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to export data.
Disclaimers and liability
Jot the Spot is provided with reasonable care and skill. To the extent the law permits, we are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Governing law
Irish law governs these terms, while mandatory consumer protections in your home country continue to apply. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any concern.
